In addition to a collection of several thousand books, the library also hosts a collection of DVDs and audiobooks, all available for checkout to any anyone with a current Illinois library card. The Atlanta Public Library is also a member of the RAILS system which allows patrons access to the collections of other Illinois libraries as well as a large database of e-books.
