Visitors are guided through Atlanta’s history through a series of collections including: the Atlanta Schools Collections, the Atlanta Fair Collection, the Atlanta Military Collection, the Atlanta and Abraham Lincoln Collection, and the Atlanta Civic, Municipal, Religious, and Cultural Collection. The Museum also acts a a resource center for those wishing to learn more about family history and genealogy.
Aiming to make Atlanta the best documented small town in America, the Museum continually adds to its remarkable collection. Local residents, visitors and researchers find the Museum a treasure trove of photography, public records, historical information and memorabilia.
